The silk sleep mask is a solution for falling asleep as light increases.

Light has a significant impact on the circadian rhythm. Disruption in melatonin production due to light can negatively affect cortisol (the so-called stress hormone) secretion, for instance. Light has an immediate effect on the body's own melatonin production. In a well-lit environment, the tiny pineal gland located in the upper part of the brain doesn't produce much melatonin, whereas in darkness, melatonin production increases significantly.
